SUNFAIR FARM
Sunfair Farm considers the meeting point between earth and table — a place to reconnect with the origins of our nourishment and the rhythms of the seasons. Our farm provides a space for experimentation in sustainable agriculture, education and community engagement.
The verdant hillsides, wide-open fields and running streams of the Hudson Valley are a rare opportunity to balance out city-life. Whether it’s a weekend or week-long reset, it’s nearly impossible to uncover all the layers here in just one visit. But make no mistake, in respect to art, architecture and food the area has it’s own hustle bustle. These same hillsides, fields and ponds are the landscape in which farmers grow food for some of the best chefs in the world and where artists create work for some of the city’s most established galleries. Sunfair, in Hudson, NY, will offer a chance for people to step out of their everyday lives and into a range of experiences connected to art, food and land.
Sunfair emerges as a meeting ground between earth and table; a means to come back down to earth to reveal the origins of our nourishment and what it means to be in season and work with land. Our farm will provide grounds for experimentation in agriculture, as well as serves as an experiential educational tool for community participants.
Community Supported Agriculture
A collaboration between land, farmers, crafters, and artists, the Sunfair CSA brings you clean grown produce, flowers, and curated products created in the heart of the Hudson Valley. As the seasons reveal themselves, each basket will capture these moments in time, nourishing you with the colors, scents, and flavors of Upstate New York. Your support will enable the rehabilitation of meadows, woods, and waterways while encouraging young farmers and artists to deepen their relationships with land, nature, and environmental stewardship. We invite you to join us on this journey and witness the growth and transformation of Sunfair Farm as we explore the intersection of art and agriculture.
and how they undeniably shape the world around us. Visits to the sculpture fields and viewing of the permanent collection are welcome by appointment. info@sunfair.net
